Twas the night before moving and all through the place<\/span>
\nWe have boxes that store things from the whole Human race.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve found tea cups from Turkey, and pens we’ve adored<\/span>
\nWe had no idea how much stuff we had stored.<\/span><\/p>\n

The boxes were stacked in each room in high towers<\/span>
\nSomewhat of hassle in the wee morning hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

A car we were renting on this last day of packing…<\/span>
\nWe found that twelve boxes is all we were lacking.<\/span><\/p>\n

So we headed to Lowe’s to purchase more boxes<\/span>
\nAnd slipped back home like fat wary foxes.<\/span><\/p>\n

We finally are ready, for moving… I think.<\/span>
\nIt is time to set down and relax with a drink.<\/span><\/p>\n

I go to the kitchen to find me a glass<\/span>
\nWhen I realize that all of the glasses are packed.<\/span><\/p>\n

A bottle of water will have to suffice.<\/span>
\nIt’s warm, and no glass, and no straw, and no ice.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s fine as I plopped down in a wrapped chair.<\/span>
\nTo watch the TV that was no longer there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tonight we will sleep while the sun is still shining<\/span>
\nCause tomorrow at five the movers arrive.<\/span><\/p>\n

They say that Americans move once a year.<\/span>
\nSo all I can say is that it’s next year that I fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I start this blog with this final thought.<\/span>
\n“Things always get better,” is what I was taught.<\/span><\/p>\n
